Bio
VEDRA is the new electronic music duo of multi-instrumentalist brothers, Jordan and Jared. After years of producing and DJing in the underground scene as solo artists, the London-based pair started the project in late 2023, merging their electronic roots with organic and soulful elements.
Jordan began his journey in the house and techno circuit of Leeds, landing a long-running DJ residency at the revered Mint Club. Since then, making regular appearances at Parklife Festival, Mint Festival and getting signed to Steve Lawler’s VIVa Music imprint.
Jared learned jazz and classical music on the piano at a young age and later became an established DJ in the Manchester and Birmingham club scenes. His more recent work as a recording engineer and producer helps inform VEDRA’s dynamic textures and centres their free-flowing process in the studio.
Their debut single, “Dusk”, draws together influences in garage, breaks and house with their past as acoustic musicians. With a string of new productions, VEDRA are ready to share their music, DJ sets and live show with the world.
